Cottage
The "Mas des lavandes" is a 250 m² house in which 10 people can live, love, laugh, play and relax. Upon request, we will provide you with a high chair and a baby crib, with bedding, free of charge. WLAN and other technical comforts are of course also available.
Our 5.500 m² garden offers endless possibilities like a playground with swings and sandbox, and a boules court is just some of the facilities available. The pool tops off the very beautiful Provençal garden and ensures refreshment at all times. At low season the pool is heated and open to the public.
To safely store your vehicles and to protect them from the heat, two spacious garages are available in front of the house. Next to the garage is a fitness room with lots of equipment and a foosball table.
In Saint Cannat you will find a bakery, two supermarkets, a fruit and vegetable store and nice restaurants. Good wine can be bought in the Cooperative in the middle of town, or a little outside at Chateau Beaupré.
If you like sports, you can play tennis in town or swim in the 25m outdoor pool. There is a first-class golf course in Mallemort, the Club Golf du Pont Royal. Green fees are €93 in the summer.
Location
Saint Cannat is named after Canus Natus, a bishop of Marseille in the 5th century. The archbishop Pierre also mentioned Castrum Santi - Cannati in one of his documents in the 12th century. Only a century later the inhabitants rose up against the archbishop and the baron of Les Baux and around the same time the Knights Templar settled here.
Saint Cannat is accessible preferably by car. Coming from the north, leave the A7 at Senas and drive along picturesque country roads to Saint Cannat. From the south you change at Aix en Provence from the A8 to the N296.
The nearest airport is in Marseille and is about 40 minutes away.
The nearest train station is the Gare TGV of Aix en Provence.
